Legal OTC Hemp. How so?

The Farm Bill
In December 2018, the United States Congress passed the Agricultural Improvement Act, commonly known as the 2018 Farm Bill. This bill legalized the cultivation and sale of industrial hemp and its derivatives, including tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that is derived from hemp plants with less than 0.3% THC content. This means that hemp products containing low levels of THC are not considered a controlled substance under federal law and are recognized as hemp. This has led to an ability to purchase hemp-derived cannabinoid products that contain legal THC across the United States. Although hemp-derived cannabinoids are federally legal, certain institutions or
circumstances may have rules or regulations in place that prohibit the use or possession of these products.
